Sensible Sundays: Use What You Have

It sounds simple enough, but oftentimes we fail to see the potential of items that we already have. So here is a simple little idea for those of you who are looking to start seedlings or are looking to transplant them into something a little bigger before going outside.

How about using some old juice jugs or yogurt containers, or whatever else you are about to throw away or recycle?

I had a couple of old yogurt containers, and they work great! And as for juice bottles, all I did was cut off the necks and tada! Instant free planter! And if you are just starting some seeds, how about an old egg carton? Cut a hole in the bottom of each cell to allow the soil to soak up/expel water as it needs.
